Carylls boasts 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with picnic areas and outstanding views of the countryside towards the Arun Valley. It is a beautiful and peaceful spot with 500 year old mature oak trees, rolling lawns, areas of wild flowers, created to attract butterflies, bees and grasshoppers. Carylls is a haven for wildlife.
The more formal lawns provide children’s play areas and picnic area. There are plenty of spaces and quiet corners to read a book or snooze, taking some precious peaceful “me” time to charge the batteries.
At the weekends, it is possible to take a horse and carriage ride between several of the local Pubs and Inns in the locality. They run a “hop on hop off” service. Sunday Lunch is a real “Blow out” at the Lamb pub and Holmbush Inn, just to name a couple of the nearest pubs to Carylls.
Set in the Arun valley, the house stands in the middle of the 5 acre plot which is surrounded by pasture and farmland with views of the Surrey Hills to the East. There are several bridle paths locally for country walks.
